1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, conducts official checks, or files documents for users.

Its purpose is to identify the Jefferson County Sheriff, the Clerk's criminal courts, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Division of Criminal Justice Information Services, and the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search as relevant custodians, while also linking to outside research tools. Public agencies apply Florida Public Records Law, Chapter 119, and FDLE disseminates criminal-history information under section 943.053, Florida Statutes. Those laws do not make this site an official custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Misconduct can be criminal. Florida law specifically restricts misuse of Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search information; section 775.21, Florida Statutes, provides penalties for using registry information to injure, harass, or commit a crime against a registrant or the registrant's family. The registry supports public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check needed for a regulated purpose must be obtained through the appropriate official Florida Department of Law Enforcement channel or an FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General explanations of Jefferson County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing rule, or expunction rule applies to a particular person. Consult a licensed Florida attorney for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

All site material is supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dismissals, sealing orders, and expunctions can change criminal records. Although pages are maintained, omissions and delays remain possible. Site content is never an official statement of a court, sheriff, or government agency.

Links to sheriff pages, court portals, Florida agencies, legal-aid organizations, and commercial search services lead to platforms beyond our control. We are not responsible for their availability, prices, content, or data practices. Review the destination's terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Jefferson County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, adapt, or create derivative material from that content.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from site use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification
